Chinese Restaurant Offers Discount Based of Breast Size

A Chinese restaurant is offering a discount based on the ladies' breast size. Yes, you read that correctly.

The restaurant, which is described as "trendy shrimp restaurant" in Hangzhou, the main city of coastal Zhejiang province. The advert says, "The whole city is looking for BREASTS". The discounts varies, clearly based on the size of the females' bust size.

One complaint described the advert as "vulgar advertising" and "discriminatory towards women". The advert appeared on August 1st, but was removed rather quickly once the backlash started.

Discounts varied, but A-cup females would get a 5% off their meal, with a G-cup female would get up to a 65% discount!

Trendy Shrimp manager Lan Shenggang saw nothing wrong with the discount. "Once the promotion started, customer numbers rose by about 20%," he said, adding that "some of the girls we met were very proud - they had nothing to hide".

The discounts would be handled by female waitresses, not the male staff in order to avoid any "embarrassment". Surprisingly, this is not the first time questionable marketing ideas have come to fruition in China.

January 2015, a restaurant in Henan offered discounts based on appearance. Another restaurant in Chongqing gave discounted meals to overweight men and thin women.

What do you guys think about this offer? Discriminatory or nothing wrong?
